Sitting too much is the fastest way to old age
Based on the book of Joan Vernikos, Kibea editing house
Dr. Joan Vernikos is the former Director of NASA’s Division of Biological and Medical Sciences, a leading author in the fields of space medicine, immobilization physiology, stress and aging. After years of research on weightless astronauts, the effects of gravity on the human body, and the consequences of immobility, stress, and aging, she concluded that the most direct path to aging, comparable to the damage done to the body by weightlessness, is prolonged sitting.
After the age of 20, Dr. Vernikos reminds us in his book Born to Move (Kibea IK), physiological development reaches its peak and a gradual deterioration of health begins.
